Michael Solon, APRN

I am Michael, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a master’s degree in nursing from Walden University. After earning my bachelor’s degree in nursing with distinction from Cebu Doctors’ University in the Philippines, I started my nursing career in 2006 as a professionally trained Medical-Surgical and Renal Dialysis Registered Nurse providing individualized care to patients with diverse medical needs in multiple inpatient hospitals and outpatient settings in the Rio Grande Valley.

I have 13 years of combined clinical experience and the specialization as a dedicated board-certified psychiatric and mental health registered nurse delivering case-specific treatment plans and needs sensitive exceptional holistic care to the child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population dealing with an acute psychiatric-mental health crisis and chronic problems.

In my free time, I love spending quality time with my family and friends traveling locally and to other countries while sampling exotic foods and immersing in a variety of unique cultural experiences.

At JNC Behavioral Services, I will continue my passion for providing compassionate, solutions-oriented, and culturally competent psychiatric and mental health care that is needed in our local community.
