Hello, I’m Robert Marez, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My work is driven by a deep commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan.
I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas-Pan American. I went on to complete my Master's in nursing at the University of Texas Health Science center at San Antonio.
I went on to complete my Master's in nursing at the University of Texas Health Science center at San Antonio, supported by a generous scholarship from CHRISTUS Spohn health System. This opportunity allowed me to complete my psychiatric training in Corpus Christi, Texas, further deepening my clinical focus.
Before joining JNC Behavioral Services, I spent five years working as both a Psychiatric Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Educator. That time helped me develop a well-rounded understanding of mental health needs and strengthened my passion for helping others find balance and healing.
Today, I specialize in psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management. I take pride in being an attentive listener, someone who takes the time to truly understand your unique story and concerns. My goal is always to provide thoughtful, individualized care that leads to meaningful, lasting outcomes.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family and friends. These moments remind me of the importance of connection and well-being in every part of life.
